High School flutists who were selected for the 2024 AMEA Regionals and the designated alternates are eligible to participate. This is a unique opportunity to play with the best high school flutists in Arizona and work with three outstanding flutist-directors.

The flute choir or flute orchestra is comprised of C flutes, a piccolo or two, alto flutes, and bass flutes. Several alto and bass flutes will be provided for participants to play during rehearsals and the concert. The flute choir is an increasingly popular ensemble with an extensive repertoire of original works and transcriptions in many styles. They are found at universities and in communities across the United States. The National Flute Association features flute choirs extensively at annual conventions.
